Pastor Tim is thrilled to serve as Calvary's pastor (again) - as a longtime member of the congregation, and having previously served as interim pastor (January-June 2020), community engagement pastor (July 2018-December 2019), and pastoral associate while in seminary (2003-2004). He received his M.Div from Drew Theological School, with an emphasis on social justice, urban ministry and interfaith engagement. Pastor Tim lives in Lansdowne with his wife, Amy (also United Methodist clergy, serving as a hospice chaplain and spiritual director), their son, Gabe, and three cats. |
Shakirah Holloway

Shakirah is a born-and-raised resident of Philadelphia. She is currently pursuing a degree in psychology, focusing on general psychology and therapy for youth. Shakirah also works as the Events and Administrative Manager at Friends Center in Center City. She is a writer, and especially loves writing children’s books to encourage and inspire young readers to explore and be creative. Shakirah hopes to bring positive energy, along with her experience with and passion for community service, to her position at Calvary. |
Norris Person

Norris moved to Philly in October 2020, having grown up in New York City (Harlem). His years of piano experience come from playing classical music, in pit orchestras and at churches. Norris studied Music at Western Connecticut State University. While in school, he served as accompanist at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury, CT. Norris has also played at various cabaret venues, such as The Duplex and 54 Below in New York City, as well as various Off-Broadway productions at theaters including The Players Club, SoHo Playhouse and New World Stages. When he's not playing at Calvary, he's busy working as a personal trainer and massage therapist. Norris is very excited to find a church that not only allows for creativity, but is also in alignment with his own morality. |
