Winter-Spring 2025 - February & May (timing TBD)
Join us for a two-part, short-term study of two different books exploring historical and contemporary engagement with the Bible. We'll begin in February with The Talking Book: African Americans and the Bible (Allen Dwight Callahan), then pick up again in May (after Easter) with Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again (Rachel Held Evans). Part book study, part Bible study, participants are encouraged (but not required) to do both. Contact Pastor Tim to sign up, or with any questions - or if you need assistance getting the books. Lent 2025 - Mid-March - Mid-April (timing TBD) As part of our Lenten journey, you're also invited to join us for a contemplative study using Walter Brueggeman's A Way Other Than Our Own: Devotions for Lent. The book includes daily reflections, so is perfect for both individual spiritual practice and group discussion. Contact Pastor Tim to sign up, or with any questions - or if you need assistance getting the book. Recent Studies |
