SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4, 1 pm
Chapel - please use 48th Street entrance* In celebration of Calvary's 130th anniversary (and 40th as a Reconciling Congregation), please join us for a special benefit concert featuring Songs of Justice & Inclusion - with renowned musician and composer, Mark A. Miller, and a community choir. All are welcome to participate in the choir, with a mandatory rehearsal to be held the same morning, 10-11:30ish am. Please contact Pastor Tim if you're interested in singing, or just show up at 10. CLICK HERE for videos of Mark in action! The concert is FREE, but donations are encouraged (and much appreciated!) - even if you can't make the concert - to support Calvary's future at the intersection of 48th and Baltimore, spirituality and justice. Suggested donation: $25 (or symbolic anniversary-related donations of $40 or $130!). CLICK HERE to make a secure online donation, or feel free to mail a check or donate at the concert. * Calvary does not have a parking lot, but there is free street parking all around the church. CLICK HERE for directions.
ACCESSIBILITY: There is a wheelchair-accessible lift that takes guests from the ground level outside (the red door at the corner of 48th & Baltimore) up to our sanctuary and church office, and down to restrooms, classrooms and our Fellowship Hall (including kitchen). The door requires a code so if you're coming and require use of the lift, please call (215-724-1702) or email the church office well before your visit so we can coordinate logistics. |
