COMMUNITY CONTEMPLATIVE SPACE
2nd Thursdays, 7-8 pm
Chapel - use 48th Street entrance
Calvary hosts an evening of informal contemplative practice each month*, featuring a safe and quiet drop-in space for community members to engage in spiritual or contemplative practices they find meaningful. During the time, participants are welcome to walk the labyrinth, read, write, create art, meditate, pray and/or explore another practice that will not be distracting to others using the space.
A host facilitator will always be on hand if you have any questions or concerns. Art supplies, writing materials and various reading resources are provided.
You are invited to enjoy this sacred space, listening to and honoring whatever may be stirring within you!
* the labyrinth is made available more often during Advent and Lent for those interested in exploring this ancient spiritual practice
