Caregivers Group

Picture
MONDAYS, 5-6:30 pm (July 21- August 25)
Calvary Parsonage / 815 S. 48th Street

A six-week support group for those who identify as caregivers - working either at the individual level (e.g. teachers, nurses, those caring for elderly, sick or disabled family members) or the systems level (e.g. community organizers, activists, et al). The group will be half-interpersonal/process and half-psychoeducational, focusing on common themes in caregiving.

The group will be facilitated by our very own Cara Blouin (Witness and Integrate). Cara is a licensed psychotherapist and certified mindfulness instructor. Her focus is on burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. She has facilitated processing groups for artists, activists and educators to support them in their work.

COST: Participants are asked to pay $60 when the group begins. Those who attend all six sessions will get that $60 back when the group ends. Any missed sessions will cost $10 (e.g. participants who miss one session will only get $50 returned when the group ends).

CLICK HERE to sign up, or contact Cara with any questions.
