LABYRINTH AT CALVARY

Growing out of our recent Spring Retreat, with a focus on centering practices and Sabbath-keeping, we are providing a temporary community labyrinth at Calvary during the month of August to encourage exploration of different spiritual practices.
All are welcome to experience "walking the labyrinth," an ancient practice used by many different faiths for spiritual centering, contemplation, discernment and prayer.
We will introduce the labyrinth on Sunday, August 4 following worship, 12:30-1:30 pm, and it will then be available Thursdays, August 8,15, 22 and 29, 7-9 pm, and again before worship on August 25, 9:30-10:45 am. Someone will be available each time to give some basic introduction, and written guides will also be provided.
Please use the 48th Street entrance, and proceed downstairs (look for signs directing you from there). Contact Pastor John for more info.
